The Urban Dynamics Indicator (IDU) is an innovative tool developed by Porto Digital in collaboration with NOVA IMS, which measures the daily activity of the city of Porto through data such as traffic, use of public transport, air quality, among others. This unique index allows for an integrated analysis of urban dynamics, providing municipal decision-makers with accurate information to optimise city management. By translating various indicators into accessible results, the IDU contributes to a more efficient, resilient and sustainable Porto, in line with the municipality's innovation and digital transition strategies.
