Developed by Porto Digital in close collaboration with the Municipality of Porto, the Urban Platform is a technological infrastructure that centralises real-time data from various areas of the city, such as mobility, environment, energy and civil protection. This digital tool supports more efficient, intelligent and sustainable urban management, putting technology at the service of improving quality of life. By integrating IoT sensors, fibre optic networks and public Wi-Fi, the Urban Platform enables continuous monitoring of the city and serves as the basis for solutions such as the Urban Dynamics Indicator (UDI). It is one of the pillars of Porto's innovation and digital transition strategy, reinforcing transparency, citizen participation and the ability to respond to urban challenges.
