Digital Transparency in Porto is a pilot project by the Municipality of Porto, developed by Porto Digital, which reinforces the commitment to a more transparent and conscious city in the use of technology. The project aims to increase citizens' understanding of the digital technologies and services implemented in public spaces. By creating a clear and accessible taxonomy, the project aims to identify who is responsible for each technology installed, what services are provided and how data is processed, promoting greater trust and digital literacy. During the pilot phase, different approaches will be tested in various areas of the city, involving the community in this process of clarification. This project is part of Porto's living laboratory strategy, promoting a more informed, secure and participatory relationship between citizens and the digital city.
