Porto Digital takes part in the Eurocities Digital Forum 2026
he city of Porto, through Porto Digital, took part in the Digital Forum 2026 of the Eurocities network, which brought together dozens of European cities in Sofia (Bulgaria) to promote discussion on a people-centered digital transformation, fostering the exchange of solutions in areas such as participatory governance and cybersecurity.
During the event, Porto Digital presented CityFlow - a modular, integrated technological solution for managing Porto’s urban services. The platform was developed for the Municipality of Porto in partnership with the Municipal Directorate for Information Systems.
The system centralizes municipal data and operations within a single ecosystem, enabling internal teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve response times to citizens in areas such as park and garden management, as well as the handling of complaints and incident reports.
Developed with funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and NextGenerationEU, CityFlow is now a mature, tested solution ready to be replicated and adopted by other cities.

In addition to participating in the Forum, Porto Digital joined the CIO Breakfast Club - an exclusive, invitation-only meeting that brought together leading technology decision-makers (CIOs, CDOs, and CISOs) attending the event to jointly explore emerging urban digital challenges across Europe.
Eurocities is the largest and most influential network of major European cities, bringing together local governments from more than 200 cities across 38 countries to share knowledge, influence European Union policies, and build more sustainable and inclusive urban environments, representing over 150 million people in total.
