About
It was established in 2004 and currently has as its members the Municipality of Porto, the University of Porto (UP), and the company Metro do Porto. The main objective of Porto Digital is to promote projects in the field of digital technologies within the context of the city of Porto and its metropolitan area, as well as to develop projects related to innovation and experimentation.
Mission
We aim to contribute to more effective and efficient public services that have a real impact on citizens’ quality of life, grounded in sustainable development and driven by Innovation and Digital Transition as key enablers of the city’s transformation.

Whistle blowing Channel
The Whistleblowing Channel allows for the submission of internal or external reports.
Internal reports include verbal or written communications containing information about violations committed within Porto Digital.
External reports refer to verbal or written communications containing information about violations reported to the Municipality of Porto, as the competent authority, under and for the purposes of Article 12 of Law No. 93/2021, of December 20.
The Whistleblowing Channel is a secure means of communication that allows for anonymous reporting. It is primarily preventive in nature and is based on a whistleblowing management system designed to ensure confidentiality throughout the entire process.
Accordingly, whistleblowers who comply with the conditions set out in the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers of Offenses, approved by Law No. 93/2021, of December 20, benefit from the legal protection granted, including the prohibition of retaliatory acts.
The identity of the whistleblower will only be disclosed in compliance with a legal obligation or a court decision.
