TECH4 Sustainability is an initiative that seeks to bring scientific and technological knowledge closer to the community, simplifying the language and highlighting practical applications in the urban context. Promoted by the Municipality of Porto, coordinated by Porto Digital and the Directorate for Carbon Neutrality, and in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), this activity is part of the Porto Climate Pact. The aim is to highlight the role of academia and technology companies in promoting sustainability, raising awareness of environmental challenges and encouraging the community to actively participate in building a greener city. TECH4 Sustainability acts as a catalyst for innovative and sustainable solutions, promoting their integration into public policies and contributing to the reduction of the ecological footprint. O objetivo passa por destacar o papel da academia e das empresas tecnológicas na promoção da sustentabilidade, sensibilizando para os desafios ambientais e incentivando a participação ativa da comunidade na construção de uma cidade mais verde. O TECH4 Sustainability assume-se como um catalisador de soluções inovadoras e sustentáveis, promovendo a sua integração nas políticas públicas e contribuindo para a redução da pegada ecológica.
